Holidays4Disabled have been arranging accessible Holidays and Travel for guests with Special Needs since the early 1990's. We understand that the needs of our clients vary and as such one size does not fit all, so we make all our Holidays and Tours to your needs and requirements.
It is frustrating to find that a room sold as Disabled Friendly doesn't meet your needs - We know this as we have had this happen to us, every hotel / property has different ideas of what we need, some think a larger room is enough, others think putting a tall toilet is right, disability isn't always seen, how about our friends with hearing, sight , speech problems to name some other types - what is around to help them.

We have a page of companies supplying helpful services to our clients.
We also book Coach Holidays and can organise equipment to be available at Hotel where the coach company doesn't allow equipment to travel in the luggage compartment or on the Coach.
To tailor make your holiday means we need to work with you to find the solution to your medical / social needs and also your ideas for the perfect trip.
Our team of Travel Consultants include members with a variety of medical conditions and also trained medical staff to enable us to fully appreciate the complete needs of you our client.
We work direct with Airlines, Cruise Lines, Hotels, Transfer Companies, Car Hire, Attractions, Holiday parks, Cottage Owners, Care providors, Equipment providers, Coach companies, Rail operators and Tourist boards and also other suppliers of disability holidays, to try to meet even the most difficult needs - but we need you to share accurate information to Help us to Help you.
We are proud to annouce that as of 01/05/2023 we will be able to offer a range of Wheelchair accessible vehicles for hire as part of our UK holiday packages. We can either have the vehicle delivered and collected at your home or arrange to be at your holiday accommodaion.
Minimum Hire - 3 Days
We have been listening to our clients, we have increased the amount of different types of equipment we can have delivered to our holiday accommodation, we realise everyone has different needs. We have been talking to major equipment providors and manufactures to improve choice and to help take some of the pressures and worries about travelling in the UK. Our team have also have made improvements to equipment hire for Cruise holidays and European Holidays.
Do you need help from a Carer or Nurse ?
We have partnered with 24/7 Totalcare to enable us to organise additional help for while you are away with us.
If you are in receipt of Direct Payment from your local County Council we can organise so you can pay for your care whilst you are on holiday.

Some of the information we need will include details of your medical needs, details of equipment you use, details of anyone travelling with you. Remember not all wheelchairs are the same width etc., so if you use a wider wheelchair it may not fit through doors in properties or turning circle may be too small.
At times we may have to ask you your weight as Equipment / Ramps have specific limits and we do not want to embarrass you if somewhere you go cannot accommodate you because the size or weight limit of equipment/user is over the safe working weight as it is then a health and safety risk for both you and people around as it also invalidates your / there insurance if used against manufacturers limits.
If you have allergies, need to take medication - we will need to advise you if you need to get any letters or special permission from supplier for you to use in that country or property.
